About the role
Build the stack behind Oppli
DestinyX Studios is hiring a senior full-stack engineer to own product work end-to-end — TypeScript, React Native, and Node.js — across Oppli and the studio's broader portfolio. This is senior ownership of real systems, not a narrow slice of one layer.
Compensation for this scope is $180k–$250k/year, remote US. You'll work alongside the founding team to ship features that help people decide which roles are worth their time — and show up prepared.
Scope
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end across mobile (React Native), web, and Node.js APIs — not a narrow lane.
- Ship production software for Oppli and the broader DestinyX product portfolio.
- Design and implement API infrastructure, data models, and applied ML product logic where it matters.
- Partner closely with founders on architecture, product shape, and technical trade-offs.
- Raise the bar on reliability, performance, and clarity of the systems you touch.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript across the stack — frontend and backend.
- Production experience with React Native and Node.js.
- Comfortable owning senior-scope work: design, build, ship, and iterate without heavy hand-holding.
- Clear written communication; remote-first collaboration.
- Based in the US (or authorized to work remotely for a US company).
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML-adjacent product surfaces or career/jobs domain.
- Prior startup or early-stage product experience.
- Familiarity with Next.js, Postgres, or mobile release pipelines.
